This is what I got…

The probability of rolling zero of a specific number is (5/6)^3 = 125/216.
The probability of rolling one of a specific number is 3*(1/6)^1*(5/6)^2 = 75/216.
The probability of rolling two of a specific number is 3*(1/6)^2*(5/6)^1 = 15/216.
The probability of rolling three of a specific number is (1/6)^3 = 1/216.
The player’s edge is thus (125/216)*(-1) + (75/216)*(+1) + (15/216)*(+2) + (1/216)*(+3) = -17/216 =~ -7.780%.

Hi! The search for a mathematical computation for color game odds led me here to your blog.

One thing I noticed, isn’t it if your color shows up in one of the dice, you are paid even money on top of your bet, and not just getting your bet back? At any rate, it may have been just a slight error, but what I’m interested is how did you come about with the 42.13% chance? Just curious, my math has become rusty

On a side note, the Martingale betting system (doubling up every loss) can really be an effective strategy in color games.

My friend have kids who go to an international school. Nung isang linggo e may parents-teachers meeting. Inalam ng admin kung sino mga umalis ng bansa, e mga foreigners karamihan kundi man mayamang Pinoy, so malamang nag-out of the country yung mga yun. Lahat sila pinapirma ng health form. Pwera sa kaibigan ko, sila lang daw kasi hindi nakaafford magbakasyon abroad. So far walang kaso sa kanila.

Sabi nila mayayaman lang daw ang naaapektuhan nyang swine flu. Pag mahirap, trangkaso lang. Kaya siguro sa DLSU at ADMU lang meron, wala sa UP, UST, PUP, etc. Hehehe.

Those who chastise BF are morons…Fact at tanging fact lng dpat ang tanging basehan bago tayo magsalita..ok?rule of law should always be the basis..dun dapat tayo dumedepende ndi s pkirmdam lang ntin o duda…yun ang nging sandalan ng mga mauunlad n bansa ngayon at yun ang gusto ipatupad ni BF..lam ko d naman sya perpekto but he’s the best we got now..kun yung ibang bansa nga e iniimbitahan p c BF o MCF pra maglecture ng good governance sa kanila dahil nakikita nila ito tayo p kaya na ating-atin sila..this is our chance..well this is a free society..ang mgiging choice ntin ngayon ang ating aanihan s hinaharap..whether it’s a failed crop or a bountiful harvest…it’s up to us Filipinos….
